Overview

This is a demo website design for a small Japanese restaurant in Montreal.
The website is compact and one-page complete, which can be done on a low budget, for a small restaurant like a small business or a family-run business.
Since a dual-language site (French and English) is required in Montreal, we assumed that the base of the site would be in French, and an English button would be placed in the global navigation, which, when clicked, would take the user to an English page.

The hypothetical requirements for the design are as follows:

• Small Japanese restaurant in downtown with 8 staff (with a Japanese head-chef)
• The budget is standard to low, and the main selling point is to provide authentic Japanese food at a reasonable price
• The keywords for the personality of the owner and the atmosphere of the restaurant are “friendly,” “minimalist,” and “relaxed”. The colour tone was chosen to match these

The logo was also created by me for this demo site.
